Pasta With Turkey and Peas

Ingredients:
  • 4 tbsp. Gold n Soft® Margarine
  • 1/2 cup chopped carrots
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can (14 1/2 oz.) whole peeled tomatoes, cut up
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves, crushed
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups cooked turkey strips
  • 4 cups cooked (approx. 8 oz. dry) angel hair pasta (be careful not to overcook)
Directions:

Heat 2 tablespoons Gold n Soft® Margarine in medium skillet over medium heat. Add carrots and onion and cook until tender-crisp. Add tomatoes, broth, peas, basil and salt. Increase heat to medium high and bring to boil. Cook for 5 minutes.

Add turkey and remaining Gold n Soft® Margarine and heat through. Toss with pasta Serve with grated Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with toasted pine nuts if desired.
